F'ing LOOOOOUUUU!

5.75! Bingo was his name-o!

Now the question is who is he going for? Johnny Hockey, Tarasenko, Timo Meier or Reggie Dunlop?

Last year a grand total of ONE player had an actual arbitration hearing. Every single other situation was resolved prior to the date. It's happening again.

And this idea of teams walking away after an arbitration ruling...when was the last time that happened? Does anyone have a list? First of all, teams can only walk away if a ruling is greater than like $4.5M (don't quote me on the exact figure since I never bothered to look it up). I see very few players on this list who will be awarded anything greater than $4.5M. Oh and before you say Fiala and Sanheim will get more than $4.5M...they don't count. Teams can't walk away if they were the ones to initiate arbitration.

Solid info on Gaudreau though.

Gaudreau's 5 team trade clause just kicked in, silly time for Tre to shop him, unless he waives it, of the teams mentioned, I would think only the Islanders would be on that list. And unless Barzal is coming back along with a top 4 d I don't see it happening..

Good point. If the mutual feeling to move Gaudreau was real...why not move at the draft or before free agency. Why wait for most rosters to be set and his trade clause to kick in that severely limits your options. Not to mention that Gaudreau's camp has repeatedly said he enjoys Calgary and would like to explore a long-term extension. But if the text said 60-70% then he's probably getting traded soon...

Really surprised that Reinhart did not file for arbitration. But he has not signed his qualifying contract. So if Florida doesn't offer term Sam will take his $5+ M one year and hit UFA. First rd pick and Levi for one year of Sam seems like the Sabres did alright.

Is it possible that Gaudreau gets traded to Boston with Taylor Hall coming back to his birthplace? Cap hits are almost equal.
