Hope he gets a chance and stays healthy.

Always hated him in NHL video games. Had a crap rating but always wanted big money to resign long term.

Boy they got that wrong. He’s one of the good ones. The kind of player you hope succeeds to dilute some of the crap in the pool. The ELC signing bonus is somewhere around 100k. He sent it all to his parents. He figured his bills were paid and he did pretty well in GR. Polar opposite of some of the other stories out there. Always smiles, always seems available for fans or whatever community event. I really want the best for this young man.

I always liked this kid, in my franchise mode i always edited him to be a top 6 either high or medium potential, I do hope he gets a solid chance whether in Winnipeg or somewhere else

I keep hoping Carolina will bring him in. Those two brothers really like each other. I have 7 brothers (half and step) and we would not be good teammates. 7 sisters too. (8 marriages between both my parents)

Interesting to hear that the Jets are looking to possibly sign Svechnikov, doesn't really seem like a Chevy offseason signing, maybe an in season Chevy waiver claim if injuries pile up and he needs a body but not the type of guy he signs in the offseason.. Lol

I'll wish him the best if he does sign in Winnipeg but I doubt Maurice will give him much of a chance, he really prefers a 4th line of veteran retreads and the Jets have some other kids that are likely ahead of where Svechnikov would be in the organizational ranks if signed so he'd just get lost in the shuffle unfortunately, he'd be a more interesting signing then Riley Nash was so there's that at least.. Lol

Just an observation. Sometimes your opening statement on a fresh piece is confusing when you reference your previous article. Case in point, it led me to believe you were opening with the inference that Evgeni Svechnikov had talent, but was toxic. It wasn’t until the next paragraph where you stated that Svechnikov had a good attitude and deserved a shot elsewhere that I realized you were only trying to generate interest in the previous “Coffee with Carley” article in your opening. No disrespect, just a little constructive criticism. Love your articles. Probably the best on the site. Keep up the great work.

That’s really good input, thanks! It may not always be necessary for me to promote that way. Let me play with the format this coming week. Thanks for taking some time and letting me know! Thanks, too, for the compliment. I screen shot these sometimes and send to my wife. It’s a blessing and I’m very grateful!
