It should be that way IMO . I think Rathbone needs a year in the AHL. He was impressive in his debut but he had mistakes to his game like that cross ice blue line pass that went the other way.

The way I see with OEL here now the 3rd pairing can be better insulated. TOI can be managed while Bones fits in. Imo he has a certain je ne sais quoi about him & will be just fine & we’ll like it.

Because, as good as those deals were, it doesn’t make up for the absolute idiocy of other contracts he’s handed out. It seems that JB has no problem handing out big money for lesser talent and yet try to penny-pinch on his core players.
