Using people as billboards for marketing is getting out of hand. You want to put something on the helmet? Fine, but leave the beauty of a jersey the way it is. Next we will be doing this on men's suits, so next time you go to a funeral, you can see the advertisement for 1-800-FLOWERS to remind you for that next wake you need to attend to. There is a point where it becomes tacky, and this is where it starts, so find better ways to advertise.

I am not a fan of defacing the Jerseys with Ads (Sponsors). I feel that there are better ways to advertise with ruining the team Jerseys. Does this mean now that the Ads are going to be on the Jerseys when you buy one now and would that relate to them costing the consumers more. I always thought that the NHL would have more class than that. I could see some of the other equipment having something on them (helmet maybe), but I would not really go further than that.

As long as fan jerseys don't have ads on them, I don't really care. If fan jerseys have to come with ads I'll be p---ed off

I hate-hate-hate advertising on jerseys. I will never buy another
