Thanks Carol agree with your Petey take. Also since he says he wants to be on a winning team don't see any that have the cap space that can't be matched.

Canucks cap clearance moves have them in a strong position. Even an overpay front load like Weber OS can be matched. It would mean low balling QH to 1/2 year deal and then having to trade someone the next season.

So given that camp is coming what say you bridge or long term on Petey and QH?

Lots of pro camps are running right now all over canada

There is one being held at UBC this weekend, and I think I saw around 10 canucks attending, as well as Edler

I said that last year , that they went all in and this year would be in trouble. I also said a few days ago I still expect Mtl to make a big move this year. Now they sort of have to .

This is what happens when you make too many big moves but it sure is entertaining to see the fallout.

It's cool enough today to have the oven going, so roasted leg of lamb with roasted vegetables is on the menu.

TT doesn't really have much to do with losing Danault though. They jumped the gun and spent $ on Hoffman and Savard when they had not yet taken care of their existing players. Once price and weber go on LTIR , they will be fine to make signings but until then, they sort of handcuffed themselves when this whole OS situation happened.

There is no evidence of any bad blood. 1 Swedish interview & some fans going full hysterics. Comprehension issues or those who cannot take something on face value without reading between the lines that aren’t there. Petey isn’t the average coached vanilla jock speak quote. Imo many athletes are not all intelligent & the ones that are it’s easy to decide when interviewed.
