There's 2-3 websites with predictions for final standings, one of them has Markstrom winning the Vezina. Maybe his confidence will get boosted by being able to play weaker teams this year.

Interesting stat I looked at the other day, in Sutter's second seasons with teams, generally he's been able to improve pts % by about 9 to 12%. That translates to just barely making the playoffs using the conference format (for context), but in the pacific, the Flames should qualify on paper.

I wouldn't bet on that Sabres Fan, it's the Flames we are talking about. You may think our goaltending is better than Sabres, Ducks etc.... but Flames always find a way to disappoint us

Still trying to u ser stand the Richardson signing. I think he is the 13th forward and will be there to bring a strong presence. Much better than the fringe guys they brought in last year.

Flames signed Chechelev to an AHL deal yesterday, too. AHL is full of capable goaltenders now and it's going to be a battle for two spots. I have Werner and Parsons penciled in right now but it will be interesting to see how it develops. Hopefully Wolf doesn't get relegated to the ECHL or one of Parsons or Chechelev can be loaned to another AHL team for development.

He's the Rinaldo of this year and the definition of a fringe guy at this point in his career. Just maybe not as one dimensional as the other plugs we've brought in in the past.

Bradley Richardson is a total plug, guess he was signed for leadership (wearing an "A" in ARI).

Please. how would it look, if she quit her nursing job, just because she started dating Johnny Gaudreau?... you can't fault her if she quits after getting married, to raise kids, avoid getting sick from work.. they have family/friends in Philly, but they're also close with their team mates in Calgary..
