The head coach also said that tomorrow, Samuel Montembeault would take on the Leafs and that Jake Allen would face the Sens on Thursday. In other words, Cayden Primeau isn’t likely to see more action, at least not in the preseason games, he’ll likely soon be sent down to the Rocket and be the number 1 there this season.


I get that Primeau isn't ready and obviously needs to gain as much experience as possible in the AHL, but under these circumstances normally they should let him play these exhibition games... so if they're giving Montembeault the nod then it probably means they want him to be ready to start the season as Allen's backup, because Price's status is a god damn mystery, once again.

yeah, technically the Price/Allen duo should be good to go for at least this year and the next, so Primeau does have time to develop. he might not have performed as well as we would've wanted at camp but there's no need to freak out about it, he still has the potential to become a very solid NHL goalie.

Season starts on the 12th I believe, the 11th is Thanksgiving, but that would be the last day in my mind to do it..... would be nice to also have a bit of time for some trade or roster moves before games start.

Yeah, I think H2H leagues require an even amount of teams, if I recall. Have not done Yahoo in years, so not sure.

Also, I prefer to draft before, that way when someone loses their star pick to injury for months after the first night of games, it is gonna be a fun season of taunting them.

Im on the road to mtl on the saturday, have another draft on sunday night and activities with kids daytime, would only really have thanksgiving day left but i doubt people would like that option
