Anthony Travalgia: Charlie Coyle’s return locks in spot on second line

Charlie was injured last year. I’ve always been high on him. I think he will do well as the second line C playing with good linemates. He isn’t Krejci, but he is a great powerful skater and will be fine.

keep the leash short on DeBrusk, i have no faith in his preseason play translating to regular season.

It's a non-starter for an injured player that needs surgery.

And Bruins would not have the cap-room anyway.

Coyle had a lot of skill, strength and was dominant at times with the Wild. But he lacked consistency, drive and was disengaged at times. Charlie had the talent to be a top 6 guy which the Wild needed but his play was too erratic. The Bruins were more talented than the Wild so many pundits thought with him happy to be going home and less pressure to carry the load, Coyle would fit in better. I don’t see him as much but Charley looks like the same guy he was in Minny.
