3rd line players will typically get 10-11 minutes at even strength. If he kills penalties or gets 2nd unit PP time then you are easily up to 13-14 minutes. Last year our #7-9 forwards all played 15+ minutes. Even our 4th line guys were all 12+. |

I don’t see Veleno getting 3rd line minutes as a bad thing. I think it’s a matter of who he is getting 3rd line minutes with. He needs linemates that can create and put the puck in the back of the net, not energy/grinders.

I would love to see how he would respond on the wing on the second line. I love his game and he has grown into a man. I also believe he has more offensive potential than some are saying. He is going to be a fan favourite. |

Who really does make the final decision on who stays with the big club and who goes to GR and elsewhere. Is it the whole coachng staff, just the supposed head coach, does SY get involved on the final decision. |
