Came down to Eichel to either the Knights or Flames, but St Louis was right there til the bitter end

more like Taransenko is plan B for a lot of teams who lost out on Eichel ...there, better headline that makes more sense.

The defense is the worst in the league but hey let's bring in one more winger!

Time to clean house, not add.

worst defense in the league you say?
Ottawa has entered the chat..

Funny every other trusted pundit said the mystery third team was Columbus. But somehow St.Louis was involved eh?

Bergevin and coach frenchy are clueless, The blueline Is mostly Immobile thugs, So what would Tarasenkos roll be? Helping the Habs lose by a smaller margin? Carey Price needs to get to work and resolve his personal Issues In the offseason!!!!!

That seems expensive. CVS usually sells Plan B for about $40

" No names or picks yet" translates to " I'll leave it to your imagination" to help with this made up story. Am I close?

you really need to think before you start posting these trade scenarios. At least make them a little realistic, not make yourself look even more clueless than what you are.

It's weird. Eichel mentioned Minnesota and Colorado, several of the big pundits have mentioned Calgary and Carolina. No one has mentioned STL.

Here we go. Plan B is in hot demand. Zero reason for Montreal to be interested in Tarasenko. But this is what your best Montreal source said so must be some truth.

at least he is bring up a very good point. Tarasenko and Kessel are the next two dominos on the table and several teams like NJD MTL are struggling out the gate.

Tarasenko with 1.5 years and currently 4g 7a in 9 games is the talk of the town. Now that he is fully healthy and back to old form (some say better) his price just dramtically increased and everyone knows it. If teams actually get in bidding war i could easily see 1st 2022 top prospect + ..add salary going back and price increases

There is no quick fix to the disaster of a start of the season the habs are in. The Blues will get full value for Tarasenko but he is just not a fit for Montreal whose problems run deeper than just scoring. Those problems are numerous. The leadership is all but gone with Weber not coming back, Price out, Perry gone and Gallagher on a steady decline. Bergevins replacements for those losses being nothing more than more players on the decline in Savard and Perreault, a 4th line center that come a dime a dozen in Paquette and an overrated center from the day of his arrival in Dvorak. Bottom line is they have no center line, no defense and a coaching staff that is so predictable in all facets of their so called system, the opposing players need only to look at Montreal's players body language to know where to go to get to the puck first, especially when the habs are on the power play. These are all the symptoms that call for a full cleaning of the house, top to bottom. A Tarasenko cannot save them now.

The Islanders are prepared to up their offer to Leo Komarov, a conditional 1st round pick in 2022, and Ryan Pilon. The condition on the pick is that it's actually a 4th rounder in 2025 in disguise

What does Montreal have to offer for Tarasenko, if he still wants a trade. A Russian that can’t speak English very well and is shy about interviews in a French speaking town that demands answers. Yeah that will go over great

This is all an intricately woven scheme. Blues trade Tarasenko for a massive haul then he resigns as a free agent in time for another cup run!!!
