Carol Schram: Can Halak, Canucks contain the surging Ducks and streaking Troy Terry? After a feel-good win over the Dallas Stars on Sunday, the Vancouver Canucks will look to close out their homestand on a high note as they turn to Jaroslav Halak in net against the Anaheim Ducks. The visitors are riding a four-game winning streak into town, thanks in part to an 11-game point streak by winger Troy Terry.

Ty Carol

Was hot to trot to pick MacTavish.
Terry is a huge surprise & will get attention from Shaw I’m betting.

Apparently Cole Caufield's dad said he isn't happy with the Utica Comets, because their twitter account was "bullying" his son over the weekend

Thanks Carol.

I want the Canucks to win tonight.

Seems adding Shaw is starting to pay dividends. Too bad they didn't change the rest the coaching staff.

Mason McTavish❤
Him and Bo would be an excellent 1-2 punch down the middle.

I seen you post a few times about that RHD for next year but I lean towards drafting a center.

I agree with the posters here about moving JTM and Petey is not really a center IMO so I would be looking at filling that first.

Thanks Schramsey, that was a great stop, maybe we should stop relating Demko’s greatness to the bubble? Is bubble Demko dead? Long live everyday Demko.

3-1 (empty net) fiendish foul in a tight checking game. Lammikko with the lone tally.

Thoughts about 18 year old Sam Bennet?

I hear what you are saying and agree with most of what you say, I just think a rhd with true #1 D potential is pretty hard to say no to.
Obviously, if Wright were available, you take him, but this kid is damn good.

Edit; maybe Geekie( thanks mini, I keep forgetting about him)

I think where we are picking I would hope Geekie is available. Big kid good numbers . His brother in Seattle would be a good rivalry.

I just hope that Jim doesn't trade away another first round pick.

The Ducks have also received more attention than usual lately thanks to Troy Terry, who has put together a league-leading 11-game point streak. Last season, the 24-year-old hit career highs with seven goals and 20 points in 48 games. Apparently no one told him that he should have peaked by now — this year, he already has a career high eight goals to go along with 14 points, in just 12 games.

Thanks Carol! Going against the grain here: 5-3 Canucks, with 4 PP goals and an empty netter.

JTM & Garland so often ignored as if we got nothing back. C’mon lol

I too on the Geekie train. Til a RHD with true top pairing upside is there. Again mine that in later rounds is the option.

Oof that is ballsy.

Still going out on a limb going 4-0 good guys. Halak plays stellar.

I have no idea who this team is yet so hard for me to give predictions. Lots of things that are positive but scoring is an issue.

I wonder how a guy like Garland would be on the PK? I find the current PK the guys are slow to react.

Not sure playing Halak is a good idea.
