Bills suck and the Sabres swallow. It’s very hard to be a Buffalo fan right now. I’m so over the constant losing with the Sabres and the let down loses with the Bills.

The Bill's have the star power, they fall short. Billicheat mocked the Bill's by throwing 3 times.

Sabres have like 3 good players.
None of which wear #26.

They started bryson/ joker, which is probably the closest to "benching" dahlin. He's just terrible right now.

All game flubs at the blue line, slow changes. Bad body language. Clodhopper skating at times. Passing way too much and at the wrong times. Starts a 3-2 then vears away from the net....

I really think the plan was to protect upl and limit chances.

That anahiem goal tonight was one of the coolest goals I've ever seen. Kinda a highlight goal of the year.

Looked close, but they can't take plays like that away, it kills the sport......

I agree you cannot disallow that 1st goal, it was perfection.

I do not think all the best first-round picks in the world can save this team. They have had a loser mentality for far too long. Who would want to be traded to this team? Answer: No one. The Pegulas have ruined professional sports in Buffalo!

What bothers me about Dahlin is this.

Stop peeling off in the zone and go make something happen. Ffs you were drafted as a top offensive D man.

Dahlin is the quintessential "all skill no heart" type of player.

I would honestly consider trading him this off-season and starting fresh with Power on the back-end next year.

All this talk about defenseman take longer to develop and Viktor Hedman... Hedman was a beast from the second he took the ice in his 1st NHL game and his "struggles" have been wildly exaggerated.

I cannot compare Dahlin's lackadaisical play to any NHL player I have ever seen, because I'm not sure I've ever seen such a lack of urgency from an NHL player.

Seems to me like Reinhart and Eichel got into his ear a bit too much and he's already set his sights on somewhere that isn't Buffalo.

They have not.

Even his fancy stats were not good until he was 23. Most of that could be his change in usage from, heavy D to heavy O though. First four seasons were heavily D zone usage and his CF% Rel was negative every year except one in which it was .2; which was also his lightest D heavy year of the four.

Also Dahlin's point shares were higher the first two years by a mile, but have since tanked, still a positive though, and second best on the team this year, somehow. Miller is 2.0, Dahlin is 1.7.

And he's on pace for over 50 points, too.
