Not really fair to say they are playing the Blues when only 6 of the 14 forwards who started the season on the roster are able to play. NHL forcing the Blues to play shorthanded, which leads to injuries, which leads to more games shorthanded, which leads to more injuries... Blues are literally just signing whoever they can find to play at this point. Turning into an embarrassment, but the NHL wrote the Covid rules in an idiotic way, so now it's a vicious cycle that will be allowed to go until it negatively effects a team with more press coverage.

I agree with you… however as crappy as we’ve been I’m not turning down wins ..

7 out of 10 and they legitimately could have won them all. First place in the Pacific, too!
Seriously, I'm baffled by how good this team is playing. Zegras and his infectious attitude certainly had an effect, but I think the major impetus for this success was Gibson basically demanding the team to play better. Goalies for the most part are in their own little world and don't interact with the team. For him to go into the first day of camp and do that has had a major impact on the team.

Injuries man.. they just crushed us last yr… and the growth of the kids. Terry / Jamie / Z / Milano / and esp Isac… 5 regulars under 24. All coming into their own.

Add to that Bo / Benoit this is a young team getting better in a hurry.
