Bills in a dome. E5. The weather actually hurts the bills offense and helps the falcons

Asplund is the most underrated player on the Sabres roster.

Tage line has been getting killed defensively since they moved him off that line.

can we finish the rodgers excuse before you pivot?
- homiedclown

I’ve posted so many stats on both Rodgers and Peyton the last two months proving they have played the QB position better than anyone since Marino.

But Tom was the one with Bill B, Josh McDaniels (crappy HC but elite OC), and top defences year after year.

Peyton had a sub 500 playoff record until No Fly Zone got him the last few wins.

Brees had a 500 playoff record thanks to crappy defences and getting screwed by Refs

Wilson is 3-5 since he stopped getting handed elite defences.

Mahomes’ only ring came when he had a top 10 scoring defence that year.

Justin Herbert is doing things no other QB has done in their first 2 seasons as a starting QB and might not make the playoffs in either season.

Deshaun Watson watched Mahomes hang up 51 in the playoffs on his defence and took crappy Texans teams to the playoffs year after year.

No defence, no ring.

Brady had the best supporting cast of all time and he’s the GOAT because everyone likes to take “context” out of things and just look at team accolades.

again the bucs have allowed 12 less points and 25 yards all season

so it's a coin toss on D for the 2 teams

what is the excuse for them this season if rodgers doesn't win

He's rated imo. He's a spiritual cousin to Girgensons and Okposo. I dont think he's a top-6 player though

he is a top 9 player though

unlike girgens

okposo is giving us 3rd line production IMO this year fringe 2nd line

He has more offensive upside than OG Larry, that's for sure.

I like the thought, Hank. Getting the 4th line set isn't nearly as important as the top 6, but it is important. Most importantly, it can be done from within and can be done this year. I think it also uses those players properly. It also allows Z to focus on becoming a dirty player. He's only fringe dirty now.

He wouldn’t look out of place in the top 6 if he was playing with two high end forwards.

But I agree, he wouldn’t be a top 6 forward on the basis of the definition

Good point there. KO has been playing with fire a lot this season - especially taking exception to late whacks on his goalies - and I like Murray there to back KO. No one wants to see him take a right to the jaw. Girgensons would have to step up in that regard because that isn't Asplund "a-tall" (as Rob would say)

I'm curious what you think about Ruotsalainen. I think he gets moved this offseason

Yep, and i have to say One of the more enjoyable things about the season is the fact we've dished out more dirty hits than we've taken this year. That is so rarely the case for a Buffalo saber team

He’s been dreadful this year imo.

I liked him last year, thought he showed well.

Perhaps forcing him to play the middle has something to do with it, however with the talent we have coming up I don’t see a spot for him

Yeah, I think he could easily slot into the bottom 6 of any team and not hurt it. The Sabres have too many of those guys though (including Bjork)

They have to cull the herd

tied for team lead in +/- for any forward playing 10 or more games

I think Aslpund and Hinostroza took his minutes with their stronger 2 way game
