Thanks Carol. Great piece.

I'm still pretty skeptical as far as the season goes. I think they either run it late, or have to start chopping games and go back to the play in scenario to balance things out schedule and revenue wise.

It’s going to be a mess no matter what. Especially for the Canadian teams and teams like the Isles/Stars.

#Flames head coach Darryl Sutter after 4-1 loss to Lightning: “There’s nothing wrong with how we played. We just played a better team, to be quite honest.”

My guess is that the league will construct an entirely new schedule to start after the All-Star break and run through the end of April — still allowing for 82 games, and hopefully keeping the same balances that we currently have in terms of home and away games, and division/non-division play.

I really don’t see a point in having an all star game/week. The nhl should focus on getting a full 82 game season completed without jeopardizing the quality of the games themselves (if they haven’t done that already).

The All Star break should be cancelled, I agree.

The Federal & Provincial governments of Canada need to open things up….let the boys play!!

As the virus continues to mutate, more restrictive measures are only temporary. You can’t bottle up people’s freedoms until you decide it’s ok to be free.

I fully support the science behind vaccinations, and encourage everyone to do so, however, I also support peoples right to choose for themselves…even if they are idiots haha.

Open things up!!

Permanently done away with. If you want an All Star Game, do it during the preseason.

Hey…Canada is still my home. Our oldest daughter called this morning in distress, we could hear it in her voice. She’s been cooped up for almost two years as she protects her daughter and now son from the virus. Her outside contact has been extremely minimal for almost two years, she’s nearing her breaking point.

Actually, we bought her and her family tickets to come down for the month of February. Our pool is heated and the weather is 20°C so she can go the pool with the kids and we can watch them while her and her husband go out and be normal for a bit.

He has to go back to work after ten days but she’ll stay with us for another couple weeks.

I’ll be up in Az end of Feb until end of March. I’ll keep her company while you watch the kids.

Money grab. It creates a lot of revenue and is good for the youth. It is annoying for the adult fans but it is only one weekend.

she’s a redhead…you can have her!! But we have a no return policy and her husband is a large, very in-shape, man, I don’t like your chances.
