With all due respect to both teams because they are professionals and I am not, tonight's game was as ugly a game as I have seen in years.
IMO, both teams were terrible. There was no flow to the game, there were missed/off target passes all night long, both team's power plays were terrible, and it just looked like a Chinese fire drill when one team could hold the puck in the other team's zone. The passing was so bad I have to wonder if the ice was in bad shape.
Both goalies played well, and the two CBJ goals were off terrible defense by the Flyers, though credit to both Bjork and Laine, they were good shots that Hart had little chance on.
I'm glad the CBJ won, and I feel sorry for Flyer fans. Their team looked every bit as bad as a team that lost ten games in a row. How is it possible that these two teams are not the worst two teams in the NHL (I know the CBJ had a great start, but now they are bad...)?
