Karine Hains: Over Before it Started The Oilers destroyed the Canadiens in a 7-2 rout last night and there’s little to be said about that game.

I don't know what that French clip said....but I saw that hit by Kassian and I got a little sick in my stomach afterwards...not a single HAB came to Monty's defense.....yes Pez came back later and good for him...but on the ice at the time of the hit 5 guys ignored what happened...indefensible.....perhaps a low point in my 50+ years of watching this team. Disgusting display. If Gorton and Hughes were watching, they need to act.

Good blog. You've got to wonder if Gorton looks at last night and takes any lessons from why he's no longer running the Rangers.

well, I guess the good news for Gorton and Hughes is that the only way is up, there is basically zero risk for them to make things any worse...

the clip was mostly about Petry, not sure exactly what's going on with him but it pretty (frank)ing bad.

didn't he leave (or was he fired..? can't remember) because of a clash of opinions with ownership?

He was fired, Dolan the Rangers owner didn’t like how the team was built, too soft, the over reaction to Tony D, (No one is talking about him being a cancer anymore are they?) etc.

I see, thanks for the clarification. well, not saying the habs need to hire a bunch of goons but I do hope Gorton and Hughes are taking notes from games such as last night's, I know in other instances this season they showed more character than this but that was a pathetic display of softness, on a team where at times it's as though no one is willing to stand up for each other.

Basically Lapierre says that Petry has got to go after doing nothing when he’s meant to be a leader on this team.

oh my. you were worrying about kick's heart the other day, perhaps you should worry about yours as well... also, the contrast between both in terms of taste is rather stark, the mix has to be really odd/nasty sometimes depending on the SPED's flavor profile.

I care more about kick than myself.

But I don't physically mix them. I usually just rotate sips

I find it interesting and a bit surprising that several sources are reporting that there's decent interest in Drouin.
Move him, Petry, and either Price or Gallagher by next season and you certainly free up some cap space. The return is the big question.

aw, that's both cute and a bit sad...

and yeah I figured you weren't literally mixing them, but the tastes will blend in your mouth to some extent when you're rotating sips.

I know I'll be fine. I always tend to care more for others (because I'm a good person).

Tastes never becomes an issue, since they contrast. If I had a chocolate bar with the SPED then both would lose their flav

well, after all, Drouin is third on the team for points so far this season...

all kidding aside though (I know this obviously doesn't mean anything, especially considering the kind of season the team is having) I'd be curious to know what kind of return he could fetch... there are rumors concerning a possible trade with Colorado, but I doubt a guy like Makar would be going the other way, although that would be pretty damn nice...

If there was a dman they could get from the Avs for drouin it would be one of the Johnsons.

and so, so humble...

and I guess that's one positive aspect of covid, it completely messed up your taste buds, so now you can drink any types of beverages together all the time.
