Also, I have never been this level of disinterested in an All Star game before, and I am generally not interested at all.

To the point, if forced, I'd prefer to watch an AZ vs CBJ game before this... that level of disinterest.

Agreed i normally watch it but the players right now are looking as bored with it as the fans are, makes for a very meh affair if you ask me. Packing my collection with it in the background, makes it at least tolerable lol

think I read that Habs won't open the door for 500, not worth it.
if they do it would only be for people in corporative suites.
as for the allstar game, yeah, literaly slept through it. it all started with an old Columbo.

the skills competition yesterday was also very "meh", so all around it was a meh weekend for the NHL, not that I was expecting anything extraordinary... perhaps it would make the event more interesting if there was some sort of actual purpose behind it, such as giving home-ice advantage to the winners during the playoffs (not sure how that would work out exactly, could be something else, but what the MLB is doing with their all-star game isn't a turrible concept, and it surely makes the players a bit more motivated since there's something for them to gain).
