If dealing with the Av's I want Roland McKeown as part of the deal. He won't garner a lot of name recognition, but he was a highly thought of player coming out of junior, a right shot, and plays a very steady "quiet" game. Even if he is only the next coming of John Stevens/Slaney with the Phantoms, he adds to the overall quality of organizational depth. |

I cant see Colorado moving Girard unless Ristolainen or Braun are involved too. Girard plays a pretty big part on the team, 2nd pair top PP and top PK unit. Seems like a really poor call to move him to add a piece i dont feel they really need. |

I don't see Colorado being willing to give up Girard either. I also don't see them being interested in Ristolainen. Braun for depth I could see. |

Bill, If they choose to sit Frost for Patrick brown when we are this far out of the playoff race is there any reason to watch this team at all moving forward? It’s been made very clear this organization has become completely irrelevant and lacks the competence to make the correct decisions regarding hockey development/operations. |

What a coup it was when they first signed Bast. Just never panned out. |

Really doesn't seem like the Avs are lacking offense in any way. They would be wise to bolster their D imo. |
|
|
|
Dont see the Avs as a fit at all. Why give up prospects for a piece they dont really need. |

I don't think Frost is competing with Brown. I could see it going down this way.
Brassard activated/ Willman back to the Phantoms.
Brown activated/ Bunnaman back to the Phantoms.

Probably not a ton since he's already 29. However, games that I've watched of the Flyers where he's played, gotta say he's slightly impressed me. I could see him being a useful 4th line piece for someone. It just probably isn't going to be Philly.

I hope so, at least tuning into the games I need something to watch for. |

It's a good point. I was just looking at the sched and there are so many games left, I need some reason to watch. Give the kids a shot. I'd also like to see a few more games for Sandstrom. |

Technically they are 2-3 pieces away. Those pieces are just star players

If Brassard and Brown and Allison get healthy perhaps the Flyers can stop this incredibly sad streak of playing MacEwen in every game. He can't kill penalties, the team has been outscored 17 to 9 at 5on5 with him on the ice, and he has a grand total of 3 points in 43 games. Even Willman and Mayhew have contributed more than Zack 2.0. |

What has Bunnaman contributed in the 50 NHL games he's played? He makes me long for the days of Chris VandeVelde.

Either Newhook or Girard works for me. The Avs first this year wouldn't help for years if ever. Fletcher gets paid to work these deals. When i losted how important an off season this is, it really starts here. Gotta get foundational pieces and build. Bill, there are some young guys already here with Farabee and York. We've seen some of what Frost brings, what is his upside...in your opinion? |
