Hard to figure out why they were so good in the 1st and crapped the bed the following two periods? |

I hope this thread is as fun as the last one. |

The old expression is good teams find a way to win. They're going have to win more games when they don't play their best game if they want to make the playoffs. |

I think trading Boeser is a mistake unless they are getting a high quality defenseman in return, or picks/prospects that are can’t miss.
Worst case scenario is he signs a 1 year QO. They could still negotiate an extension later next season, or trade him prior to the deadline. He would be a UFA at the end of that contract (7th pro season I believe).
Best case they agree on a multi year deal at a more manageable cap hit. |

Zero shots on their last three PP attempts probably has something to do with that. |

I'm curious why they played like that though.
I think once they get some games in with this almost 100% healthy roster they can get in better sync.

Boeser has 2 more RFA years. So he can basically get 7.5x2 by accepting back to back QOs |

Allvin firing shots at the media already. Doesn't take long to get sick of their trade rumor manufacturing.... good for him. |

I didn’t think they looked that much better in the first. Turned over too many pucks near their blue line, and maybe trying too hard to set up the perfect shot instead of just getting pucks to the net. Both the Hughes and Lammikko goals were a result of weak wristers on net. |

I thought it was 7 professional seasons or 27 years old as of June 30th.
Maybe his first year doesn’t count towards this - the year he only played a handful of games?
Edit - has to be on the roster for 40 games, so I guess his first year of ELC didn’t count towards his UFA status. |

Well done Carol.
As stated on Boeser return would be low.

Well, shots were 15-4, they had almost all the chances and they were up 2-0 by the end of that period. Obviously goal tending wasn't carrying them in the 1st.
Carol used the term "dominated". I agree...
