there's also the possibility that St-Louis helped him get some confidence back. I hate this "he's a bum" logic, as if you personally know the guy and what his intentions are. |

They looked like they were a bit out of gas at the end there, but fun game all around.
It's great to see Caufield flying, he really looks like he lost that ball and chain he was dragging around since the start of the season. |

I'd like to see him and Suzuki improve their speed, maybe power skating this summer? that would be good. |

Great to see the Habs with the second longest winning streak in the league (second only to Calgary.) The two best teams in Canada! |

People are quick to forget how much he’s done for this team since he arrived and he signed 2 long term contracts with Montreal, loved and was committed to the city but i think the wheels can come off the wagon when you lose your family for the season, that might have been brewing for a while before his wife took off. Bottom line he was a great d man who wanted to play here and chose to sign here twice, for me, he is not a bum. |

all of that is true, but does not excuse this year's performance. his family is still away isn't it? that doesn't prevent him to have more points in the last 4 games than in the first 40. |

The whole team wasn’t performing, clearly the coach had lost the room, im glad he spoke up against the system tbh, and i dont think he turned it off outright it just wasnt working… |

It's mentioned in the article about Petry not enjoying the system Ducharme used. I thought about that for a second...... what was the system he used? Like good gravy, I actually don't know. When he started he said he wanted to be more offensive, but that never happened. Exits out of the zone, entries into the offensive zone, pk and pp.... all of it a mystery to me with exactly what he was trying to do.
With MSL, you at least get an appreciation for the fact of how much of this game is confidence and communication. |

Remember that time you contributed a valuable point to a discussion rather than your BS pro french agenda? Me either
FYI - Vancouver was 8-15-2 when Bruce took over and is now 24-22-6. It must suck when reality doesn't line up with your asinine agenda every, single, time. |
