Eichel has no help. Stone, Pacioretty, Reilly, McNabb, Martinez, Hague, and Whitecloud all out. 3rd pair D against Wild last night had 1 NHL game between them. World of trouble for them.

I thought it was a terrible decision to pull the goalie with 3 minutes to go when you were pressing for the game tier. Also, that 4th goal bothered me. I guess that's just Hart's style, but damn he looks small when he crouches as he prepares for the shot. Willman needs to be sent down and replaced with someone else. Gotta see if there are any gems hiding out in the minors cause Willman ain't it.

Yeo pulled the goalie twice before his team has control of anything.

I’ve never even seen a game where a team dressed 3 centers and 7 defensemen in my life, until I noticed it three minutes in to the game tonight. It honestly looked like nobody knew what to do. Seeler, Connauton and Yandle were just left to figure out the third pair. There were multiple times where three natural wingers were just tossed on to the ice.

I didn’t think Hart had an overall strong game, but what can you do when you’ve had next to no support in front of you.

Morgan Frost. I’m watching that kid do some pretty amazing things and than something will happen that throws an amazing move he just made completely off. I can’t put a finger on it. He’ll do some pretty sweet stuff and than no finish and I’m not even just talking about goals.

Really looking forward to catching Giroux on a half decent team tomorrow.

Half decent? Flyers need 10 seasons to score so many goals that Panthers have scored so far.

So the flyers defense was very bad last season a poster said in the prior thread. I do not think anyone will disagree. They needed to improve in that area.

So the solution to that was acquiring an average at best dman in RR. Makes sense.

May not be a fav of most but Zach MacEwen brings it every game. Plays his role very well. Chuck should resign him for 1M, solid 4th line player. I can see why Canucks fans were not happy when Flyers picked him up.

That was an awesome fight at the end of the game. He would make Shultz extremely proud!

I did not watch this game but in the blog Bill specifically mentions Risto with a tough game and said he had a direct hand in 3 Detroit goals. Sounds like you aren’t being objective at all by posting these stats. And if that’s the case, you clearly have an awful eye test. The guy, who works for the team, said the player was bad.

Perfect, please look at the entire 56 games then, you will see essentially the same thing. But even so, I think its even more relevant in the here and now, not the past. BTW, Risto had a poor defensive game last night, but as you can see, Sanheim didn't fair much better.

Post the same exact stats for the whole 56 games. You will most definitely not essentially see the same anything. The difference is quite clear.

Well you can throw the metrics out the window if one guy directly gave the other team 3 goals and the other guy didn’t. Do you see why the metrics there would mean absolutely nothing and how asinine it is to post them?
