Nice to see the kids getting some ice time. Mackay looked very comfortable in tonights' 4-2 win over the Sharks.

Night after night, shift after shift Johnny creates something out of nothing while being a stalwart defensive player. He has the best plus/minus in the league and definitely deserves the Hart trophy.

Just popping in to exclaim about how absurd of a season that top line of yours is having this year! Their 64-27 at 5-on-5 as a line (JG & MT w/o EL are 12-1; JG & EL w/o MT are 6-2) and a sparkling 61.7% xGF are the things of legend that you'll think back on and yearn for years from now.

Hope your guys can capitalize on this historic run and we can witness a 2nd round BoA

Like the way Mackay holds the offensive blueline.... even Darryl commended him in his post game presser!

He was impressive. They'll need him next year, assuming they let one or both of Zadorov/Gudbranson walk. This will give them the luxury to spend more resigning guys up front. Valimaki still looks a bit shaky but still hoping he can compete for a spot next season.

Mackey looked very good. Vladar was solid. Valimaki seemed too slow.

I thought Valimaki was trying to do too much out there, needs to play a simpler game. That and the fact he was paired with Stone and not D whisperer Tanev. Glad they both got an opportunity, we need to get them some games in case we’re forced to use them.
Ruzicka sick again? Was suprised he wasn’t dressed as I thought he was pretty solid before.
Would be nice to see Vladar get 3-4 of the last 11, for not playing for so long he looked ready and focused, both goals going in off feet and legs. San Jose playing soccer out there, even Reimer getting in on the act, flopping around like he’d been run over by a truck trying to draw a yellow card.

If the standings end up the way they are now those 2 games in Nashville should be pretty exciting. I like that match up better than playing Dallas, or St Louis at this point, although I think Chucky might be ready vs the Blues.
Just need to win the games we’re supposed to, Seattle, Seattle, Arizona, Las Vegas, Chicago, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Dallas
Nashville twice and Minnesota
When you look at the remainder, Sutter should be able to rest certain players if needed.
Who would have thought with the crappy schedule to start Flames would be gifted a great way to close out and get ready.

With Monahan out for the season, the team seems to be more relaxed. Any thoughts?

I agree on Valimaki and Vladar.

Per AHL site, #Flames have sent F Adam Ruzicka back to Stockton.
@CapFriendly
had his and Juuso Valimaki's recalls this week listed as emergency recalls, which seems likely given this move.
Too bad, he did very well.
