I doubt it. Let him run with the meaningful hockey games on the farm. Clark probably knows what he's working with in Martin by now. Especially with Abby being so close. Halak has to play some really good hockey to hit that bonus. There's no guarantee he does.

I was scoreboard watching and turned the game on with 10 minutes left in the 3rd.

I had mentioned in last thread that Dallas only has 26 wins and 36 ROW. That's a lot of extra time needed to finish games.

I think Van is a better team than Dallas.

I'm not big on drafting overage players. It would be way better to invite the guy to camp and give him a contract. He's not ranked but the few periods I've watched Mississauga play this year. He looks to have some potential.

On the serious side , I like the idea of giving him a shot. Like you said an overage player but if it is a late round pick why not . I do like the Bains signing . Much of the same idea . Nothing to lose , no harm in trying.

Larsen would be just a draft plus 1 player due to his birthday.

I probably wouldn't have a problem drafting him in rounds 6 or 7 this year. He's a type of defender that Benning I don't think picked other than Gunnarsson.

Bains is a great pick up, scoring at that pace in the WHL is impressive. The players Abbotsford signed Wouters and Nielsen were barely PPG 20 year olds in the WHL and are now providing some worth to Abbotsford.

Hopefully bringing the team over and having more control over the prospects, churns out more serviceable NHL players.

I like Cull and think he is doing a decent job in Abbotsford.

Interesting for another day, gotta keep winning though.
