Carol Schram: With help, the Vancouver Canucks can still make the playoffs. Here's how: The door is barely open, but there is still one open path to a Stanley Cup playoff berth for the Vancouver Canucks, who will need to win their three remaining games and get some help along the way.

I agree, Canuck fans don’t deserve Chris “Ironman” Tanev. They never gave him the respect he deserved, and Benning listened to the fans and let him walk for free! Instead opting to chase $6 million man Sh!tty Schmidty. Now Tanev a Flames favourite is on the cusp of playing some meaningful games, something that wasn’t available much as a member of the Canucks.

I had said if the Canucks were to keep 1 of those 3. He was the one they should have kept.

It doesn't matter anymore, what matters is the new regime fills the holes in the lineup.

You’re not getting him back, he’s a perfect fit with Gudbranson on the first penalty kill unit.

New regime will have so much to work with if they have patience. Benning set the development process up well before he left. Cull is a good coach, Braid the skating coach, new skills coach. A lot of good scouts in place

Benning is the gift that keeps on giving.

OEL and Myers are below average PK defenders. They are semi ok at defending 5v5. No PP studs. Overpaid and over used in this line up.

Who says we wanted him back? lol glad he's doing ok in CGY but the country-club of injuries aside glad we moved on. To take the next step you gotta move on from Tweeners like Edler-Tanev. CGY has a deeper line up which provides some nice shelter for players like tanev.
