I did, but they finally let me go. Appreciate the concern
Any thoughts, concerns, etc. for tonight? |

I think if the Preds score 8 goals tonight, we have a good chance of winning. |

Didn't the Preds try to do all that in Game 1? They out hit the Avs 59-47. I'm pretty sure I saw a stat that there were more hits in that game than in any other game 1 including 5+ periods of NY/PGH. I really doubt ramping up the physicality is going to change anything even if it's possible. It didn't really work when the Avs played Calgary or Tampa this season either and that was before Manson and Sturm showed up. This is a different Avs team.
The problem I saw was that the Preds stood at their blue line and let the Avs walk around them into the zone. I thought John Hynes is all about protecting the net? None of that was apparent Tuesday night. When Josh Manson gets behind your D you have a problem. The Preds D is no longer good enough to defend zone entries the way they tried to do. And with a backup or worse goalie you have the disaster (for them) that happened Tuesday. With Ingram in they better concentrate on shot suppression and protecting the house rather than the bizarre picket line they tried to set up at their blue line.
As always, I'll be in Section 318 watching... |

lots of concerns —obvious ones that wouldn't add anything to the conversation.

The Preds will play better tonight, I'm pretty sure Josi won't be a complete no-show like he was Tuesday. Who knows if it will be enough. I strongly disagree that "just hit somebody" is the answer. They could start by having the D ride the Avs wingers to the outside. How the hell does Lehkonen skate in a straight line down the slot toward the net?

Yeah and the Preds really didn't play much better, they just had a goalie playing unconscious show up. Given Ingram's story I'm happy for him but the Avs did not deserve to lose that game. I'm not going to be real surprised if Josi and his 8000 assists win the Norris because the people who vote for it are idiots but I wouldn't trade Makar for Josi and a couple firsts and I'd bet every GM in the NHL would agree.

Agreed! Josi is a super star but Makar is a generational talent that you don’t see very often! Happy for Ingram that was a great performance but chances of him repeating it are slim. If avs continue to dominate play like they did last night this serious is over in 4 |

Nashville got F'in robbed today. Landenskog's 2nd goal was clearly goaltender interference. Goal counts and then they score on the PP. I'm good if anyone other than the Avs lift the cup |
