As someone who has no love lost for the Caps or Oshie in particular, and someone who is actively pulling for Florida as well, I see no issue with this hit. It wasn't dirty, just unfortunate. |

Oshie definitely caught him with a shoulder to the face, the hit looked bad.
Oshie was chasing Bennett down. If Bennett doesn’t lose the puck he keeps heading towards the net with Oshie trying to catch him/cut him off. Bennett bobbled the puck and turned into Oshie. I don’t think there’s a suspension there. I guess Oshie could’ve started to turn as Bennett did and lessened the head contact? That doesn’t seem realistic, though. It Happened so fast.
