Totally agree. Players should be agitating each other after whistles/games. Domi did a bit more than that..cross check couldve really hurt Lindgren.. Not whining, but there is a difference between giving the opponent a face wash with the glove vs a hard cross check for no reason. That's my only gripe. NYR aren't angels either though....so, let's see what happens in game 4...Makes for more drama, which is fine by me

I don't dislike the Rangers but draw the line when someone pretends that the Canes are gooning it up. The Canes are perenniely one of the teams at the bottom for fighting majors.

Why did the Rangers go out of their way to sign Reaves? So they would have a fighter when they face the Capitals.

The Canes have guys who do a lot of chirping like Trochek and TDA but very few who will drop the gloves.

I don't think the Canes have been gooning it up but I also don't think that you need to fight to do so, so I'm not sure gauging it by fighting majors is the best way.

It's been a pretty clean series so far with some minor scrums but nothing egregious either way. That includes the Domi play last night which, while not egregious, was definitely a dyck move to crosscheck a guy that's been battling injuries all playoffs in the ribs after the horn sounds.

I thought Gallant was in-line saying that if the Canes continue to do things like that the Rangers will respond. I think that's fair and he's not calling for a suspension or anyones head he's just saying if you want to act tough we will challenge that. I think Rod would be saying the same thing if Kreider crosschecked Slavin in the ribs after Game 2.
