That 3rd Flames goal was one of the weirdest I've ever seen.

Personally, I am fine with keeping Archibald in. His numbers are ugly, but that is also a line driven thing. He is a wrecking ball out there, and I think that has the Flames on their heels a bit, they seem to be way off in the physical aspect of their game. The collision with Kassian was hard to watch though, lol. I certainly wouldn't blame Josh for that goal where Keith decided to skate away from his coverage, then not get back in time. 1 on 1, Backlund beat Keith and then Smith, Archibald taking the body elsewhere has little to do with that.

Archibald is bringing the 1 element that we lack and its physicality. Limit the ice time and use as needed but we need to have that option on the bench. I do question the coaches decision to utilize them after the goal, or have the 3rd line follow up a calgary PP as one would think thats MCDs time to go up against a lesser line. We also need a different option than Yammer on the PK as his 2 failed clears cost a goal.

That entire play begins with Archibald going for a hit in the Flames offensive end and taking himself completely out of the play. Archibald is playing minutes against the bottom six for the Flames, guys like Coleman, Backlund, Zadorov, and Lucic. None of those players are being intimidated by Archibald.

Last game Archibald played 15 seconds against Tkachuk, 3 seconds against Gaudreau, and, 1 second against Lindholm that should say everything that needs to be said about how much Woodcroft trusts Archibald. If you can't see that Archibald is bringing down any line he is on I cannot help you.

Archibald is slightly more useful than Lucic. The fact that Calgary is paying Coleman 4.9 million for the next five seasons is

You do realize Nurse is a defenceman?
Yes he will be overpaid, but that's what happens when you bridge a guy and then the market goes crazy. Guys get paid

You think they signed Nurse to score goals?

Maybe he's getting paid to throw hits and block shots.

Maybe. If it happens I’ll give them their due. If it doesn’t , and the Oil send them packing , will you bugger off?

Have a feeling Flames win tonight. But getting KY-Man to piss off will be a tough task lol. He posts more in the Nucks thread than the champs do which says alot...

Hey there Lunk Head, I’ve barely been in the Nucks thread lately cause now that they’re out it’s the same crap every day, golf, vaccination, draft, prospects, former players, stupid trades……..l
It seems to be you wandering around now, isn’t it?
