All I can say for sure is that 31 fan bases will agree it was no goal.

The sad commentary is that in my opinion”kick” or not, that puck was going in. Unfortunately the laws of science won’t account for momentum. Thus “no goal” on what clearly should have been one. And what the attacking is pushed into the crease and makes contact, or his trying to avoid goalie contact results in a “kick”?

I also have issues with the current rule. If a kicked puck goes in off a goalie stick it is no goal? The goalie stick is to prevent goals, if it doesn’t stop it then it should be good. Also, it it goes in off a stick on the ice it should be good, unless said stick was thrown at the puck

It was kicked in 100%, only way to doubt it is if you are a calgary fan, never played hockey, or haven't really looked at the replay.

Yes Coleman was heading towards the net and tried to stop.
This was BEFORE he saw the puck.
The puck appears in the crease while Coleman is stopping.
Coleman LOOKS down at the puck.
THEN he extends his foot out to make contact with the puck.

Nobody stops by extending their inside skate out like that.
Yes he was battling to get to the net but he only does this awkward extension AFTER he looks at the puck. It happened so fast that he most likely didn't even think about it and did it completely out of an involuntary reaction. But it is still a forward kicking motion towards the net.
