Absolutely DO NOT trade him.
Decent goalies are in short supply these days. Why do you think scoring was up all over the place with mediocre players having 80 point plus seasons.
Essentially your Reimer issue is like the Senators with Forsberg. It's found money. You have a prospect kid who isn't quite ready. You have another guy who has a couple years...of so-so goaltending. And you've got Reimer. I always admired him in Toronto, he handled the pressure and the media no problem. He'll give you stable 900 goaltending if you put a decent defensive structure in front of him.
SanJose is nearly in a Minnesota state of flux. You've a new GM, you've got massive amounts of deadweight sunk into contracts that don't look good. Not much up front.
