After a whole weekend hanging out with really good sources I was hoping for a bit more than the usual Gaudreau and Forsberg stuff. I did notice the article references the link to the 2016 rumour chart. So another copy and paste error. But it might actually be interesting to see the 2016 rumour chart and evaluate how accurate it was. I'm guessing in 2016 Malkin was heading to Nashville right? Maybe Ovechkin too. Patrick Kane going home to Buffalo. Taylor Hall going home to Calgary. The Sedin's always dreamed of playing with Erik Karlsson. Would be a good blog to go back in time... |

Sure, Bettman and the owners (including the Canadian ones) are colluding and risk losing billions if they're caught, just to possibly scrape a few extra million from the US market.
There is no conspiracy. Bettman doesn't "frank" the Canadian teams. When you're thoroughly outclassed in all aspects of the game (Oilers vs. Avs and Habs vs. Tampa) then you do desperate things that result in more penalties. |

Also does anyone really look at this Edmonton team and think they are a Stanley Cup contender? I don’t know that they would’ve made the playoffs in the east playing against that kind of competition. |
