Ya replacing Backstrom's cap hit with an older similarly often-injured Russian centre is not exactly forward-thinking.

I wouldn't mind using that 9 mill (or 6 against cap, whatever it is) on some solid young D-corps. Shipping Carlson wouldn't be the worst thing ever as well!
