Ben Shelley: Analyzing the Dmitry Kulikov trade

Good pickup for the Ducks. D was a dumpster fire at the end of last season. Don't expect Kulikov to be +23 on this team like he was in Minn, but he's a good 3rd pairing guy who will make the Ducks a little bigger and take some pressure off the kids. One of the things GMPV said early on is that he didn't want to rush the D prospects. This move fits with that strategy.

I like the move…. 15-17 minutes a night maybe more… nice shutdown guy. No muss no fuss.
