No. I bet if this were to come to fruition, if there needed to be cap help, they could launder him through another team to further shrink the cap hit.

That is a lot to give up for a playoff run involving Kane. If he were here to start the season I might feel differently but still a lot. Chicago has no leverage if Kane has any kind of clause as well.

Issue is we have had difficulty hitting even 8 the last couple of seasons. I don't mind waiting a little but I want the draft done before Tuesday.
