Kubalik, since Bertuzzi and Vrana are out, has been moved from the 4th line to the first with Larkin and Perron.
I read that the Hawks had a pick of 3 mock-ups for the retro jerseys, and the one selected was considered the best. Could just imagine how hideous the other 2 looked. |

Would rather see Regula in for C Jones. If they’re not going to play Regula, then they should send him down.

Yes, when I looked at the "retro jerseys", I thought Panthers were the best also.
The palm tree and stick are what make it with the powder blue.
I like the Chicago Flag con pet, but I would add a hockey stick and the indianhead down where a puck would be situated in the design, only to redrudge the emblem controversy as if the team was shooting the Indianahed away....
If one knows the Hawks skating coach, could you have him travel to Waterloo and to concentrate on getting Sam Rinzel's backpedal fixed....have him more on the balls of his feet? |

Detroit coach Derek Lalonde just mentioned multiple times how the Blackhawks' aggressive new forecheck is now a "a huge identity of what they are," just like Luke Richardson has wanted.
"They're a much more...on-top-of-you type team than what I played in the past with Tampa." |

For those looking ahead, Adam Fantilli already has 8 points (1+7) in 4 games and leads the NCAA at a 2 PPG clip.
Even if the Hawks don't win the lottery I still think they'll be ok. |

Looking at the Sharks, Yotes, Canucks and a few others this year, in this small sample of 3 games this year, I can envision the Hawks drafting anywhere from 6-12.
More players need to be traded (Kane, Toews, etc.) I think to drop to the 1-3 range. |

Any of the Top 5 should help with the rebuild. Deep Deep crop this year. Hopefully we can get a couple more 1sts to use.

Is WIZ who comes in these discussion a lot a scout for the hawks or a team or been a scout in the past or something?

I would expand that to any of the top dozen....of course, closer to the #1 the better. |

I wish someone paid me to do what I do.
Like you, I am a Hawk4life], who have the time to be a fanatical draft prospect viewer....
If your wondering what Ben Pope is talking about, well, just like the way the drafted looking for characteristics that will fit their new image, they need speed to work in the new forecheck. |

I think the major miscalculation was hiring Richardson. He may actually get them to play a solid game, even given the lack of high-end talent. Probably going to lead to some wins they could do without.
Should have stayed with King or better yet brought back JC to seal the deal.

I dunno if the coach can coax enough out of this team to make a huge difference.
The coyotes are laughably bad but once the Hawks move on from the players who demonstrate usefulness on the ass end of the season it'll kinda take care of itself.
They'll be bottom 3 this year either way and probably win the lottery because the lottery is in fact rigged. |

I’d rather try the RD that just turned 22, than the 25 year old turnover machine. |

Agreed. Should be interesting to see who moves up and down in the rankings as the season goes on. I will be keeping a close eye on the WHL players. |

I expect a better future when either Roos or Regula. is in the lineup. Both hopefully will develop into a better player than C Jones. |

Sky blue as the main colour of a sweater?! Ugh...
Minny, Philly, and Ottawa are pretty good- Ottawa's just basically their original sweater. Minny's being the North Stars colours with the Wild logo (which works a bit better than the California Seals -which San Jose was going for), Philly- it sort of depends on if they are still going with that stupidly different colour for the name plan on the back of the sweater.
LA's is ok -it's basically their old home sweater in the 80's (when homes were white) -and after they ditched the yellow homes.
They oughta have made Columbus put a big native American motif on theirs- since they've been lying about what their name of Blue Jacket -actually means -and have since day 1 pretending that it is not about the Ohio leader of the (ironically?) same name.
A lot of the others are re-hashes of the alt sweaters from the 80's - Pens, Isles, Sabres, Oils, Flames, Caps, Bruins, and Rangers.
A lot of them are not overly original in that respect ... and look, the Wings basically got the same treatment as the Hawks - and I doubt the winged wheel was that charged of an issue --- it's just crummy design by people mailing it in to try to sell more sweaters ---and it probably isn't going to work.
The entire thing is basically a league-wide parody. |

Not going in reverse ... it's from the balls of the feet- and the hips. Heels sounds like it puts the centre of gravity a bit too far back -and apt to and with your but planted on the ice looking at the roof of the stadiums (from direct experience).
