Fast pace of play, great transitional play, mobile defense. It's what we all have been hoping for. I think this group will hit harder times as we've had a bit of luck as well, but good on the energy and compete level. We're in a odd spot points wise in the league. To high up to get that top 5 type of pick, but not good enough to make the playoffs. It's early, and we'll probably drop, but this team has to be achieving at a higher level then management pictured this early in the season.

I think for a while, later in the game, Slaf was moved up to the Monahan line for some shifts, so that was good to see. Also, Harris with another quietly solid night (and 2 assists), same for Dach (also, 2 assists).

Kids are fun to watch.

so apparently Michel Therrien says that Geoff Molson is actually opposed to the Nordiques' return, and that he would even take actions to prevent it from happening if necessary, which is the complete opposite of what he affirms publicly...

GEOFF MOLSON VIENT DE SE FAIRE JETER SOUS L'AUTOBUS
https://www.habsetlnh.com...al-Michel-Therrien-170609

(en tout cas si c'est vrai, ça me dérangerait pas de rouler dessus avec l'Optobus, avec ses prix de billets ridicules pi son osti de patch RBC...)

anyway I guess it isn't that shocking that he would have such a position since he has a business to run, and that if he deems that the Nordiques' return would have negative effects on his organization's revenues and market share then it's perfectly normal that he'd be opposed to it... still I find it kind of comical how hypocrite it is loll.

Probably not something we'll ever find out in reality. As cool as it would be, I don't see the NHL putting another team back in Quebec.

oh I know, I'm an eternal optimist for that sort of thing and I hope they do come back one day but I'm fully aware that the chances of it ever happening are slim to none.

Look there is a team right now playing in a 4,600 (that they can't sell out) with a visitors room which is actually a few chairs curtained off in a hall way.

The league is doing this on purpose

in a way as a leafs fan you probably find this a bit reassuring regarding Matthews, I doubt he'd even consider going back home and playing there after seeing poop like this loll.

it's vaguely reminiscent of the Flames' dressing room, I know the Saddledome was built a long time ago but you'd think they would've revamped a few things here and there, wtf.

They are waiting for a new arena.

Matthews better step up if he wants another contract in the league

I'm sure Hughes could sign him for cheap and give him a chance to redeem himself with the habs, if they pair him with Hoffman he's bound to find his mojo again.

Well, revenue is divided by 32. I would imagine it is more advantageous to play in quebec's pkp dome rather than a tempe area ymca

perhaps he isn't opposed at all, and Michel Therrien is just full of poop and in need of attention.
