6 goals just for the habs? sure wouldn't mind that, Caufield and Suzuki are due for a more stellar performance.

judging by how Edmondson looked when he came back I'm not expecting much from Matheson tonight, it'll probably take a few games before he really gets it going, would be nice though if he brought immediate results on the PP.

I think there will be a rotation for a while, but I also think it is inevitable one of the kids, likely WiFi, gets send down to Laval.

Specifically when Armia comes back.

Unless there are other roster moves.

I was curious to see if Nicolas Deslauriers would challenge Xhekaj, guess we'll have to wait to find out.

I think if WiFi wants to stay in the lineup, he will try to stay out of the box.

Dropping the gloves just for the sakes of dropping the gloves does not help his cause in staying in MTL.

for sure, wouldn't want him to fight every game anyway, he'd be brain-dead in 2 years lol. but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have declined the invitation, considering that big statement he made the other day...

Looking at the tankathon site, just a couple of loss's improved the teams draft position by a couple of slots. Watching a young competitive team is good enough for me. Chiarot brought a first round pick? Still can't believe that one. More of that please

I don't think this is what St-Louis or habs management are expecting from him, he can be physical and stand up for his teammates without having to fight all the time... he also has a certain set of hockey skills that he can bring to the table, the focus should be put on further developing these skills as well.

Georges Laraque qui dit que Jacques Martin est le coach qu'il a le plus détesté, parce qu'il le laissait pas jouer son rôle dans l'équipe...

he's obviously quite a fighter, but he doesn't have a ton of experience either, I'm a bit worried that if he's challenged all the time he'll eventually make a costly mistake during a fight and get hurt really bad. I know some will say it's just "part of the game" but I'm not too fond of those ugly injuries, and it might not be totally worth it in the grand scheme of things...

Have a few vets around to insulate the young guys is not a bad thing.

And the terrible ones like Wideman, help in the drafting department too..

Wideman is an ideal 7th D, he can sub in where needed but does not need to play 50+ games, unless you have too many injuries.

this

you don't want a rookie or kids you have hope for to be a 7th d. Those kids need to play in the NHL or in Laval. Anywhere but the stands.

Wideman just need to be in the right chair
