He's actually doing a good job in VAN, with their crap defense.
Apparently he wants to re-sign though. |

Eklund: Luke Schenn to Leafs (e4). Three sources… - Eklund
Here’s some free advice EK, if you’re trying to drive hits you’re only half way there bud. Your headline should read:
Eklund: Luke Schenn to Leafs (e4). Buffalo and Montreal involved. Three sources.
Now that headline will drive traffic!! |

They really have no room or need for him… I do like him as a player though. |

I spoke to Luke Schenn about his future as a pending free agent: “I didn’t sign in Vancouver two years ago to get out of Vancouver, it was to try and stay long-term” |

I don't know what e4 means but in from past history I'm guessing it is an error code. However I do see this as a plausible trade. Dubas is known for getting past prime players hoping to capture some of their past glory. The trick is hoping they over achieve in a last ditch effort to win the cup. Schenn himself looks fairly decent on a sort of useless Vancouver defense. His toughness and grit would be a welcome addition to Toronto. probably wouldn't have to give up a lot to get him either. Vancouver could be in for a reset since their current core is failing....speculation have it that both Horvat and Boeser could be on their way out. Therefore no sense in keeping Schenn around for a rebuild. if you think Schenn would stay in Van think about this; Van is destined for a bottom 10 finish while T-O is at least in the conversation as being somewhat of a contender. Winning is more fun any day of the week. |

Well the Leafs traded him for JVR because he was too slow a long time ago.
Doubt he is any faster now, and he doesn't fit with their style of play.
This is not happening. |

Rather see Schenn go to Boston or Tampa. |

While I don't believe this at all, Schenn would look great on our bottom 6. |

No room for him when everyone is healthy.
Anything more than a 5th for schenn is overpaying |

He doesn’t even make that. Holl is playing 22-25 minutes now. He doesn’t come out. I doubt that Lilli comes out and Brodies plays with Rielly when he plays. |

1st off the timing to move Schenn is off. Only way any truth to this is an overpay. Therefore not soon or at all. |
