Like the Panther game, Tampa checked the Gaudreau-Jenner-Nyquist line when they came on the ice, making the other 3 lines try to beat them. Although the Sillinger line (Johnson & Marchenko) looked strong last night, and contributed the only goal, the other lines couldn't step up and net some goals.
I hope Larsen doesn't panic, do a knee-jerk reaction, putting Laine back with Gaudreau. Keep them on their own lines - spreading the offense.
The forwards' TOI distribution was surprisingly, oddly?, close - 4 minutes separates the lowest (Foudy(12:37) from the highest (Roslovic !!!16:38)). Hah !! Not Jenner !!
However, Johnny Hockey and Olivier had about the same TOI - which asks if Gaudreau is hurting. Or maybe Larsen just feels that Olivier will create more offense than Gaudreau . . . right ??? |
