Watching our boys Othmann and Sykora duel it out up here in Canada at the world juniors. Tbh Sykora is looking like the more impactful player tonight, though Othmann has had a few good drives to the net and you can see his skill/hands around the net. Sykora has been very good on the forecheck and cycle tho. He's got a real good motor. Nice to feel good about prospects of ours these days!

Agreed. I just didnt know the situation and was expecting that it was a big hit

If I remember right, a hard hit to the chest at just the “right” millisecond in the heart’s beating cycle can disrupt it and cause cardiac arrest.

Problem is they have to play it today or tomorrow they were saying. So time is of the essence, and the players from both teams probably will still feel like they did last night. I did hear it could go down as a tie. It’s not like hockey where it’s easy peasy to reschedule a game. Not to minimize it all, but this is major headache for the NFL seeing how important this game was in the standings

Never like to see anything like that happen. Someone reported 9mins of CPR. Not sure how accurate that is, but that is crazy. Kudos for the medical staff.

Really noticed it last game too. He doesn’t have top end speed but he’s really quick at getting to pucks and great at using his body to protect it. Love that we’re seeing the playmaking vision come too. Next step will be a few snipes and showing his ability to finish.

Really like what I’ve seen from Chytil and Kakko so far this year. Kakko is developing into a possession forward constantly trying to gain possession of the puck, and I see similarities the way he and Chytil protect the puck when they have it. Laf going to get one tonight 👍
