Why was Panarin out there in OT? He refuses to wok hard on defense and should have bought a ticket watching that move. Hey coach, ever think of sitting the Superstar for a shift? No accountability for the Breadman, only the kids

I don't know, maybe because he was out there when they beat Dallas in overtime two weeks ago, maybe because he scored the Rangers biggest overtime goal since Stepan in the playoffs?

I love Panarin, but this has noticeably been his worst season as a Ranger.

A player rumored to be on the block I’d like to add is Max Comtois. Physical 3rd/4th line player perfect for a playoff run. Wouldn’t cost a 1st and we could possibly resign him. Had a good season 2 years ago, hope that a change of scenery helps him get his scoring touch back.

arguably true, but there's nothing wrong with him taking the ice at the start of a 3 on 3 overtime

I don’t disagree with him being out there, but I expect more out of our $11 million player.

Right!! A reversal from last year where he had a great season and a so so playoff run - This year - a so so season and a brilliant playoff run is the ticket I would not mind punching.

Chytil to PP! is such a no brainer. If we were deeper up the middle i wouldnt mind seeing Chytil on RW in the top 6

He’s developing into a top 6 center right before our eyes. Leave the kid line alone and let them develop, the future success of this organization depends on them taking the next step and they’ve all played their best when they’re together.

totally not adverse to the kid line but they need 2nd line minutes which I think they have earned and are not getting.

Yeah, he's getting older. It naturally happens. He's still one of the best players production wise, to ever play for the Rangers. You'll probably never seen prime Panarin again. Doesn't mean he wasn't great, or isn't good. He's just not as good as he once was.

He hasn't been quite the same since the "Russia incident"- that's where he jumped the shark.

I think that's a little preposterous

last year in the 25 games from March until the end of the season he had 40 points, he had really good series vs Pittsburgh, ok vs Carolina, and then was poor vs Tampa

but Tampa does that to players in the playoffs

No, it's just this year. His family issue happened in 2020-21.

a little harsh

of course he is Panarin and his so-so is better than most. But using your eyes and not data- I dont know you can deny this?

like I said, last year from March until end of April he was incredible and I don't see why it cant happen again, especially if this team adds at the deadline
