I'm glad this All-Star carnival is almost over and we can get back to real hockey that matters.

They have the best players in the league there, skills all over and they make them do clown poop instead. Unreal

yesterday on the radio they were suggesting this.
each team sends one player, their best one.
32 players.
each and everyone participate to all the different competions.
faster skater, Shea Weber slapshot, , Ray Bourque 4 targets, passing skills competition... name it. real hockey skills competitions. they get points for every competition. 32 points for the winner, 31 for the runnerup, .... and 1 pt for the guy finishing last.
at the end we'd know the best all around.

have them go 2 by 2 to make things go faster. slapshot and targets and each end of the ice. faster skater, again 2 at a time (if they skate in the same direction obviously lol)...
and give 1M to the winner, for a charity of his choice.

I think the winner of each event at the skills competition yesterday got 30K. not sure if this is a required incentive so that players actually make a legit effort but there's something rather absurd about watching millionaires win even more money loll.
