Karine Hains: Canadiens Have 3 Prospects in The Athletic’s Top 50 List The Canadiens had a day off today and we therefore got no status update on Arber Xhekaj, the Canadiens’ faithful did get some good news from Scott Wheeler’s top 50 drafted NHL prospects list.

We have a deep pipeline, and draft capital/currency to get this rebuild done properly as long as everyone remains patient!!

Remember when all we had a bunch of bottom 6 forward and 3rd pairing D prospects that we'd try to get excited about and see where they fit in the line up.

Lots of unanswered hopes.

And now we have a cupboard full of prospects and young kinds already at the NHL level.

Things are finally going to get exciting in Montreal, we just need a little patience.

And a goalie.

Remember when all we had a bunch of bottom 6 forward and 3rd pairing D prospects that we'd try to get excited about and see where they fit in the line up.
