I’ll be there tonight. Hope they bring the energy. Hope Hughes gets out of this slump. Kind of stupid scheduling back to backs that aren’t both home games. Team flies home last night and has to wake up and play again. Can’t think of anything better for injury-prevention than that. Stupid.

Hopefully it was just a stinger for Nico and isn't an actual injury that keeps him out of the lineup.

The entire nhl’s schedule has been poop this year. Not sure what the deal is, I can’t imagine there’s that many scheduling conflicts in every market.

Have fun! The Rock should be electric tonight, the most important game in 5 years for this team. Although our chances to win the division don't increase that much even with a regulation win for some reason(~22% up to ~33%) lol, so it's not as big as some people are making it out to be.

Probably has something to do with remaining strength of schedule. Definitely worth it for the team to keep pushing though to get an easier first round matchup.

So from my vantage point in section 108.. wtf did we do in the 3rd besides absolutely nothing for 16 minutes? 1st 2 periods were entertaining though. Burns is a massive human up close.

Admittedly, it has been some time since I've been to a weekend game, but MAN did that have the look/feel of a playoff atmosphere (before and during game). Fans in section 123 really brought the noise!

Vitek played a hell of a game. Hopefully that W gives him the confidence he needed to regain his form from earlier in the season.

With a little more seasoning, the Bratt Meier Hughes line will be lethal. They were flying all over the ice.

Wonder if (despite the win streak), Ruff makes any lineup changes to the 4th line. Thinking Lazar for Wood or Bastian.

Yea it’ll be Bastian. At least we have depth. We have a depth grinder; and a depth scorer (who we need to get back in some sort of groove before playoffs imo)

Update on Timo since he hit the 5 game mark. His rank among Devils at 5v5:

Individual shots - 1st
Individual expected goals - 1st
Individual scoring chances - 1st
Hits - 2nd
Expected goals against - 5th(best)
Contributions per game(shot attempts and shot assists) - 2nd, only behind Jack.

He would be the first to admit that he hasn't been at his best yet, but it's scary to think how good this team is going to be when he gets fully acclimated considering how good he's already been. He won't shoot 5% forever, and the Devils won't shoot 3.5% when he's on the ice forever. Luck is a female dog sometimes lol. The flood gate is going to burst at some point, and I'm excited as hell he's part of this team(hopefully for a long long time).
