Under Green he was not bad defensively and scored at a higher rate. The last year and a bit under Bruce, he was bad defensively (as was the whole team) and scored at a lower rate. Those numbers have got better under Tocchet.

Tocchet has said he would like to be more involved in Brock's off season training. Unless a decent offer comes through, I couldn't see him being moved.

Keep him then, if bad contracts aren't an issue anymore.

There are bad contracts and then there are baaaad contracts. Even the Dom whatever his stupid last name is. During his little reports had Boeser as 3.4M (I believe) player where as OEL and Myers were playing at league minimum players.

I like Boeser, I think he performed well under Tocchet, I don't think he held the team back by any means.
I agree with your comment in the last blog, another defenceman like Hronek and a couple of player moves this will be a playoff team.

I had talked about about the possibility of the Canucks going after Ross Colton yesterday morning.

Friedman on 32TP says he thinks the Canucks will look to add another centre, he wonders about Ross Colton, looking at Tampa's cap situation, could be difficult to keep him. 26 yrs RFA with arb rights, will Tampa try to keep him or will teams line up to try and acquire him?

poop, I thought he was coming into his last year. I guess you can't extend him for another whole season year. (frank) it then, trade him.

He can't play when his name is on the trade block. The minute it is off, he seems to show up. This will dog him until his play and pay are matched up. Not looking forward to another disappointing year from him.
