Florida knocked out in 6. - wreckage
Fixed it for you. Fwiw I am pissed about how much the media is saying Boston choked and not how your team choked the Bears. Amazing comeback đź‘Ź. Should be a great series. Can you buy me a ticket in Miami? |

Lol. I live in Alberta. But I'm sure places like gametime won't discriminate and take your money.
Also, gotta learn to walk before you can run. Florida walked last year winning the presidents trophy, then bowing out in the second round. Toronto learned to walk this year with their 1st 1st round win in ages. Toronto has the better overall roster top to bottom, but may still be a year or so out from making a serious wave. Hence why I take the Panthers this year. If they had won one round the previous couple years I'd side with the Leafs, but they're a year or so away from making a serious charge. |

As much as I want Florida to win, and predicted the upset against Boston, I simply can't ignore that Toronto is a better lineup IMO. So unfortunately, I'm calling it Toronto in 5. |

The fact that the Panthers won't sell tickets to Canadians says something about the Panther fan base. Come on Panther fans get out and support your Panthers they really deserve your support. |

Now comes the big question for Vinny, home for game 3 Saturday or Kentucky for the derby? You make the call. |

Congratulations to the Florida fans out there. No one gave em a chance, and then they did that... Hats off to em! |

I laughed when I saw that FLA is restricting ticket sales to US residents. Sens tried to keep Leafs fans out of their building a few years ago and it backfired in such a hilarious way
Such a bad look for the Panthers. But I suspect it’ll be 30-40% Leaf’s fans anyways |

This story is way overblown with only Half of the details. It was only done to give the “locals” (of which many are transplanted Leafs fans) first crack. They will lift that restriction (today, I think). What’s the big deal? Back in the day, you couldn’t sit 1000 miles away from a game site and buy tickets from your couch. You had to physically go get them from box office or a (local) Ticketmaster outlet.
Everyone gets their panties in a bunch over the stupidest poop. |

Capitals wouldn't sell direct to people outside of the DC Metro area. Guess that says a lot about Capitals fans, too? |

You also only needed a US billing address for a credit card. Plenty of work arounds if needed. Media needs stories though lol

I thought about going down to Sunrise for game 3 instead of the poop place Toronto but the whole couldnt buy tickets thing yesterday kind of ticked me off. I looked again today but with flight and ticks for me and the wife even the cheapest seats available I am looking at a couple grand for a 3 hour event and that is before food and hotel. I might still take another look and change my mind but at these 5 mins I am staying on my couch. Should be a good series I hope. My entire family is leaf fans so I really wont be able to stand a Toronto win in the series. I dont think that it will be the cake walk many leaf fans are thinking. Sure panthers were lucky to win round 1 but the Leafs also got lucky in my opinion winning their series. If Colton could hit an open net then they dont come back in whatever game that was and if they dont choke that 3 goal lead in another game and then also choked another late goal game. Could have just as easily been a 4-1 series win for the bolts. and my memory isnt that great but didnt the cats defeat Samsonov at least a game or 2 last playoffs? |

No matter what, it was a bad PR stint by the Panthers and reeks of what Tampa Bay did a couple of years ago. If anything it will backfire in their face and you will have more Maple Leaf fans there than ever. Of course, Canadians have more money to blow on a three-hour event even if their team does lose. |

The Panthers just beat the best team in Hockey this season, Their chances of beating Toronto are just as good. If the Panthers play the same hard physical game as they did against the Bruins, My feeling is that the results will be the same as the first series. It depends on what Panther team comes out of the starting gate. But as Al Stewart said, this is the year of the cat. |

I think that’s exactly why it was done. Can you imagine a rabid and slobbering Leaf nation all with the same thought as you flooding the “ticket window” (judging by the crowd for games 3&4, the Bs fans up north did just that.) It is what it is, this way the “locals” (whoever they may happen to root for) got first chance at tix. There will still be many Leaf fans there, as there always is, even with the temporary restriction on tix access.
The added cost of making the dash down from Toronto is actually a fringe benefit of the one day head start. invasions shouldn’t come cheaply, after all. |

Looking forward to an exciting series.
I think the Leafs will focus on Montour, and Ekblad will have a good series. I like Barkov to step up since he's apparently healthy again.
Panthers really on a roll. Score first, score often, win more.
Go Panthers!!!
