Should be a great one. Can’t wait - |

I find it interesting that Toronto is now trying to make Bennett the villain and they are the good guys. This will be very interesting how this all plays out tonight. |

Well he did cross check Bunting in the neck and he did slam Knies' head to the ice causing a concussion. Other than that he is an angel. |

Bunting took Cernak's head off in the first round, so it's just karma hitting them back in round two.
This is an entertaining series. |

@rang you should go watch the video of the play a few hundred more times, maybe you’ll finally see that what you say was done to Knies never freaking happened! |

Some Leafs fans’ account of Bennett/Knies....
“..an-an-annnnd after he powerbomb and double DDTed our boy behind the net, this was the last thing we saw before he skated away...
....it was AWFUL!” |

I bet a twelve pack on you (frank)ers winning this series. Don’t make me go thirsty. |

Rats - going to have to start calling you “Ratzilla” because of that GiF.
😂
I’m expecting a real battle today. Should be a great game. Think TOR is going to unload so the Cats have to be ready! |

I love in-your-face, smash-mouth hockey. Bennett knows what needs to be done. So does Tkachuk. |

Wah!
It’s playoff hockey, Sammy’s a beast! |

30 minutes to puck drop.
Getting the dip going and putting a cold one on ice.
Here’s to hoping for another Panthers win, folks!

A lot of good pressure from the Cats. Feels like one of those games where they will either break through, or a “close but no cigar” night. |

Saying the goalie is stealing games is demeaning to the team effort and mostly baloney. Florida is demonstrating what playoff hockey is about to two more talented teams and have earned their success and Bob Rafsky is part if it. |

Exactly. Bob is playing very well, but not stealing games.
The puck battles are being won by Fla. Look at the turnovers/giveaways/takeaways.
They are not good at faceoffs...but they are great at getting the puck.

Well he did mug him. You don't think he crossed any lines?

Yeah…
I’m VERY much rooting for the Panthers in this series, but even I think Bennett crossed a line.
Oh well. 🤷♂️ |

No, He didn’t cross any lines.
This post was just laughing at how over the top some went about it. “Choke slammed”, “rock bottomed”. Give me a fukking break. Bennett had the puck as he approached Knies, Knies went to hit him and missed, putting himself in an awkward situation. The rest was just tangled up hockey players. I imagine it’s possible that Bennett thought, (frank) the puck, I’m just gonna let it go so I can rough this kid up a bit. |

I’m pretty sure Bennett sucker punched Knies the moment they made contact. Watch the way Bennett’s right arm moves. There’s no clear footage (that I’ve seen) showing a punch, but Knies’s head is tucked down and it looks like Bennett took a swing.
And don’t go saying I’m biased on this take. Knies shoulda kept his head up and paid attention to WHO he was about to engage. Bennett is a rough customer, and it’s the playoffs. Liberties will be taken, and Knies should've expected it. |

He was trying to get around him and go chase the puck that he had just shoveled around him. He’s in his defensive zone and the puck is going around the boards to who knows who. Knies stumbled off balance as Bennett moved to avoid him, and his head dropping down put him in a bad spot. Bennett just trying to get his arm and stick untangled. |
