No matter who your team is, this was an incredible playoff game- rarely seen in today's NHL. I grew up a Whalers fan, but couldn't stomach the move. Panthers fan since inception in 93. This is going to be an awesome series, regardless of who you're cheering for. |

Great game…and still suffering from watching it all. Going to be a great series as both teams are playing the same great forechecking style. Canes fans now realize what Boston and Leafs were facing. Best of luck to both teams for a recovery after that 1st one. |

Is there any relief on the injury front for the Canes? They need bodies back to get them over this on a roll Panthers team with star power. |

So what now? Calling it over the spirit is broken.
Off-season, maybe a trade for an offensive player that isn’t injury done would be help. The East is wide open so many changes coming. |

I find it quite premature to call it over. I do believe they want additional offensive talent, but that is nothing new and has been a persistent problem for years with no easy solutions. They'll be contenders next year as well. |
