IMO this is a good thing. Yes the kid committed a lot of turnovers, but he is young, cheap, and a lot of upside. Just what this team needs right now. He is a 5/6 with potential to move up over time to the top 4.

agreed, if yall remember how bad pelech and mayfield were at the beginning, let the kid get some reps in with a dependable partner and we'll see his true potential in a couple of years. |

Good. He was horrible. I'm glad he's finally off the broadcast. |

He was the most annoying broadcaster after Pierre McGuire. He would never shut up and was always talking about nonsense. |

Really not much to discuss at this point. Could be a quite Islander offseason. |

5 picks and the first one isn't till #49. What's to talk about? |

I'm hoping we get some changes to Lane's staff. I'm not sure how many roster changes we will get. |

Quick question:
What’s the name of the Islanders reporter who criticized Putin, and was pushed out of the industry?
IIRC, he’s now a math teacher.
Thanks in advance |

I don't recall hearing this story. Was it a reporter? Or a broadcaster?
The Newsday team reporter for the Islanders is currently Andrew Gross. Before him was Arthur Staple. Before him I think was Alan Hahn. I don't think any of those guys has become a math teacher. |

So what your saying then is see you in September? Lou has a habit of pulling off in draft trades. I guess you see him sitting on his hands until 49?
I do not see this team keeping the same label. If they do it will be a mistake. I think you will see the Islanders make a few moves during draft and open up a few things for FA. There a few players that could be upgrades to what is now here.

I see them going after a D at the draft....Buying out Bailey and making a push for one of the three top forwards.

Yes. Pretty much. Lou just doesn't have the assets in picks or prospects or the Cap space to do anything of significance. Unless he rufies and takes advantage some other GM I just don't see it. |
